There are many different types of relationships, some last a few weeks and others that last a lifetime. Some are full of joy and love and whilst others are abusive and full of hate.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s parent/child, partners gay or straight or child/child all relationships have their ups and downs. These periods of turbulence are what can cement a relationship or shatter it forever. A lot will depend on how you handle it.

On the following pages we’ll point you towards people who can help to either hold your relationship together, if that’s what you want, or help you get away from a situation that you can no longer tolerate.
