Abuse
You don't put up with it.
If you are being neglected, physically, sexually or emotionally abused, it's difficult to know where to turn.
Depending on your age you might consider confiding in a teacher, youth worker or your Connexions PA but be aware they may have to tell the Police or Social Services.
Childline will only pass on details with your permission or if they think there is a real danger to your life. They will also chat, on your behalf, to an adult you know, if that's what you want. They have trained Counsellors who answer your questions and give you advice about speaking to the Police and Social Services.

Its not just children who find themselves in abusive relationships it happens to adults as well.
One of the biggest worries, particularly for females, is knowing how to escape to a place where the abuser can’t find you or your children and you will be able to afford.
