Public Transport in Norfolk


Looking to get around in Norfolk and you don’t have a car! This can seem a real problem but now it is possible to plan a journey using train, coach and bus by contacting one telephone number or checking just one website the organisation is Traveline 0870 608 2 608 or www.traveline.org.uk.

For railway information telephone 08457 484950 for national rail enquiries or you can try their website. Norfolk is served by three railway companies each with their own telephone and websites.

One Railways run services from Norwich to London, Cambridge, Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Sheringham. One Railway or telephone 0845 600 7245 for ticket sales

WAGN run services from Kings Lynn to London via Ely and Cambridge www.wagn.co.uk for ticket sales call 0870 850 88 22
Central trains run from Norwich to the Midlands and the North West www.centraltrains.co.uk. Telphone 0870 609 60 60 for ticket sales.

There is also an organisation called train taxi that gives the numbers of taxi firms that will pick you up at the railway station and take you to your final destination. Contact them at www.traintaxi.co.uk
