A guide to funding and grants available to individuals in Norfolk

The Calibut’s Estate and Hillington Charities :

The Kings Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Charity :
People in need living in West Norfolk amounts of £250 -£300 apply via CAB, social worker or welfare agency, in Feb, May, Aug, Nov to Mrs Veronica Stiles, 54 Park Road, Hunstanton, PE36 5DL

Southery, Feltwell and Methwold Relief in Need Charity:
People living in these parishes amounts £50-£100 apply via a third party like a parishioner, or committee member, all year to Mrs JK Hodson 36a Lynn Road, Southery, Downham Market PE38 OHU

Banham Parochial Charities :
People living in the parish of Banham amounts according to need – e.g. cost of heating bills, clothing apply in writing, any time of year to Martin Baglin, Norfolk House, The Green, Banham, NR16 2AA

The Charity of Joanna Scott & Others :
People under 25 who live or are educated within 5 miles of City Hall. Grants for fees/uniform costs/living expenses etc apply by application form and supply a copy of the circular from the education establishment attended. Apply to GH Smith, Clerk, Hansells, 13 Cathedral Close, Norwich NR1 4DS

The Harold Moorhouse Charity :

East Dereham Relief in Need charity :
People in need living in East Dereham or organisations helping people in the community

Sir Edmund Moundeford’s Educational Foundation :

Foulden Parochial Charities :

Harrold’s Charity:
People aged 13-25 living in South Walsham Amounts up to a maximum of £2000 towards school/education/ equipment costs apply in writing, November, March, July to Mrs James Beech, Beech Farm, Upton, Norwich, NR13 6BP

The Great Hockham Fuel and FurzeTrust :
People in parish of Gt. Hockham . Amounts grants to help with cost of fuel apply in writing or by a third party to Chris Wiltshire, Clerk, 8 Little Hockham Lane, Great Hockham, Thetford, IP24 1NR

Harling Fuel Allotment Trust :

Women in need living in parish of Harling (or immediately outside in exceptional circumstances). Kings Lynn Charities for the Poor:

Kings Lynn General Educational Foundation:
People under 25 who’ve lived in Kings Lynn, or attended school there for a minimum of 2 years. Education grants towards books, fees, living expenses etc. apply using an application form by 30 August to AJ Cave, WheelersFKH, 11 King Street, Kings Lynn, Norfolk PE30 1ET

Little Dunham Relief in Need :

Lyng Heath Charity :
People living in Lyng parish amounts £20-£50 mainly for fuel apply on a form by individual or via third party. (Include DOB, how long they’ve lived in Lyng, reason for grant ) to Mrs SA Broad, Clock House, the Street Lyng, NR9 5AL

Northwold Combined Charities and Edmund Atmere Charity :
People in need in Northwold amounts £40-£100 apply in writing by the individual in November to Mrs JA Norris, 25 West End, Northwold, IP26 5LE

Norwich Consolidated Charities :
Permanent residents of Norwich on low incomes amounts £50-£500 apply on the form supplied or via CAB, social worker, welfare agency, grants considered five times a year.

Norwich Youth Projects

Ralph Greneway Charity:

Shipdham Parochial and Fuel Allotment :

South Creake Charities :
People in need in South Creake, no-one in work is eligible £35-£100 inc. for education

Tilney All Saints Parish Lands Charity :
People in parish of Tilney all Saints amounts according to need apply in writing, any time of year to Mrs E Constable, Elm House, Station road, Clenchwarton, Kings Lynn, PE34 4DH

Watton Relief in Need Charity :

Society for the Assistance of Ladies living in Reduced Circumstances:
