Paying-in slips.
Every time you want to pay money into your account you must use a paying in slip. These slips are usually kept at the desks and counters in your local bank or building society branch.
You will normally find some paying-in slips in the back of your cheque book, or you can ask for a paying-in book.
Each slip is printed with your account details on them, or you will have to write them on yourself. You will be asked to complete a section of the slip with what you are paying in. You will need to state how much money the credit is for, and whether you are paying-in cash, a cheque, or both.
