askcab - target audience

Target Audience

We make every effort to ensure that this site is accessible to all and is available to anyone who seeks or needs its help, regardless of class, race, religion, gender, disability, or sexuality. We aim to comply with the following legislation:
Disabled Persons Employments Acts 1944 and 1958
Disability Discrimination Act 1995
1976 Race Relations Act
1984 Commission for Racial Equality Code of Practice
Sex Discrimination Acts
and in addition to this we work to eliminate discrimination through our policies, processes and training programmes. We actively oppose all forms of discrimination in all aspects of our service delivery, and are committed to ensuring that our services are equally available to all people.

However, AskCAB is only intended to provide information for a specific target group: those aged 13-25, and professionals working with this age group. Where information applies only to a particular age group within this, such as 15 year-olds, this will be made clear on the page itself. The information in the Resources section is aimed at teachers and other professionals working with young people.
